Over the last three years, we've worked to bring the Gorka into the 21st century—resulting in two distinct lines of mountain suit. Originally designed for Russia's mountain troops, the Gorka concept spread rapidly. Its full coverage, generous cut, and high mobility won it quick and lasting adoption around the world. However, like many pieces of Russian military technology the Gorka had a neglect problem.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eAfter its introduction in the Soviet-Afghan war, the Gorka was never substantially modernized. Over the years Russian manufacturers made minor tweaks and updated camouflages, but the core design of the Gorka was left unchanged. 40 years is a long time in military technology, so in 2018 we introduced a suite of upgrades we called the \"Gorka K.\"\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe K2 features Russian inspired patterning, Russian pocketing, and a simpler design with less moving parts.
